We are a husband-wife team with our workshop on the beautiful coast of Mendocino, along scenic Highway 1 in Northern California.

In 2020, we chose to spend our lockdown on the North Coast. Having had a career in TV/film for Chad and law for Karen, we started to wonder if our life should take a turn and focus on what we would otherwise regret not having done. 

We decided to combine our interest in design and working with our hands, and pool the skills we separately honed over the years, outside of career, in wood, metal, glass, leather and fabric. We got to work and converted an early 20th century barn into a workshop.

We have always been fascinated with the stylized naturalism of the Arts and Crafts/Art Nouveau era and the elegance of iconic Asian and shaker forms. We hope to reinterpret these influences and find in our designs the balance of intricate details and classic forms.

It took a while, but we finally have our debut collection and would love to share with you. We hope you will find them a fitting piece in your creative vision for your lovely home.
